Nigel has more than 25 years general management experience in both the private and public sectors in Europe. He has managed Operational Service Units as well as Training & Development Units in the Irish health services.
Nigel has vast experience in training needs analysis, and in the design, delivery and evaluation of training and training materials. Using Creativity and Innovation frameworks and Creative Problem Solving techniques, he has trained, facilitated and led strategy development processes, organisational development initiatives and organisational performance improvements. He is an experienced trainer, facilitator, consultant and presenter.
Nigel was also an associate lecturer with the UK’s Open University Business School for 13 years on their Professional Diploma in Management / MBA course, and an associate lecturer with Dublin Institute of Technology.
In addition to an educational background in philosophy, psychology, theology and communications, Nigel studied on a scholarship secondment in the Institute of Public Administration in Dublin. He has a post-graduate Diploma in Management and an MBA from the UK’s Open University Business School; and an M.A. in Adult & Community Education from the National University of Ireland. He is a Fellow of the Irish Institute of Training & Development (FIITD), a Member of the Chartered Management Institute (MCMI), a Member of the Singapore Institute of Management (MSIM) and an Associate of the Chartered Institute of Personnel and Development (Assoc CIPD). Nigel is also a Certified Trainer and Master Practitioner of Neuro-Linguistic Programming (NLP) and a Certified Coach.
Michelle has years of experience as a multi-lingual lecturer/trainer and has worked with clients such as Marina Bay Sands, Resorts World Sentosa, Comfort Transportation, Nanyang Technological University, PSB Academy, James Cook University and ERC Institute.
Having lived in various countries such as Japan, Indonesia and Australia, Michelle is able to create rapport and foster strong links with people from various backgrounds, nationalities, and languages. She is fluent in Mandarin Chinese, English and Japanese.
Michelle also worked as a correspondent at The Asahi Shimbun, Japan’s leading national newspaper, as well as a contributor in other international publications.
She has attained an impressive array of academic qualifications, including a Master of Science in Industrial Psychology and Management (The City University of New York, USA), Bachelor of Arts in Linguistics (Ryukoku University, Japan), Professional Diploma for Teachers and Trainers (Cambridge University, UK), CELTA (Cambridge University, UK), Associate degree in Japanese Linguistics and Culture (Nara, Japan) and Diploma in Mass Communication (Ngee Ann Polytechnic, Singapore).
Alka is a multi-lingual and experienced human resources (HR) practitioner with over 18 years of HR and legal experience. Her extensive experience in the HR arena includes a full spectrum of HR functions including regional roles and execution of Global HR programs/initiatives.
She has been the Manager of the Career Resource Centre for Expatriates (CRCE) in Singapore since 2003. CRCE offers invaluable services to expatriates seeking job opportunities in Singapore through job listings and workshops. She has facilitated over 200 career coaching and job search related workshops at CRCE, high schools and universities in Singapore and Hong Kong. She has also successfully coached individual clients in transition. Prior to that she worked with multinational companies, legal firms and schools throughout Hong Kong.
Alka received a Master of Arts in Human Resource Management from the Macquarie University in Australia, a Diploma in Law from The University of Hong Kong in conjunction with the Institute of Legal Executives (U.K.) and a Diploma in Education Studies and Child Psychology from the Linguistic Council in Singapore.
She is a Certified Human Resource Professional, Certified Professional Resume Writer, Certified Employment Interview Professional, Certified Behavioural/Career Consultant and an accredited Facilitator on the ‘Heart of Success/Work-Life Balance Program’ by Focus on the Family Singapore. She also pursued a Professional Certificate in Coaching (PCC) with Results Coaching Systems (NeuroLeadership Group) and Certification in Career Coaching with PARW/CC.
Alka actively engages in several associations, as a Professional Member of the Singapore Human Resources Institute, Professional Association of Resume Writers & Career Coaches, Career Directors International, Singapore Institute of Management and International Coach Federation.
As an ACTA Certified Trainer, Varuna has facilitated a wide range of workshops covering job search strategies, public speaking and social etiquette, for graduate and younger students in Singapore.
She also conducts regular/several team building and communication skills workshops for reputed institutions such as the National Library Board, Caterpillar Inc. and the Rotary Club.
Varuna holds a Masters in Business Administration from Narsee Monjee Institute of Management Studies in India.
