Hello singgirl,

Online degrees have come a long way in terms of quality and recognition. Many universities will not even mention whether the degree has been obtained online, which does show that they believe them to be pretty close in quality to in-person programs (at least in terms of education/theory).

Especially for experienced professionals, they are certainly seen by employers as a viable/good option to enhance skills/knowledge. Also, they are convenient for both employers and employees since they can be completed with minimal disruption to work life.

A quick google search will throw-up a number of websites, which provide details of the various options available. Off-hand I know that the University of London offers some great programs.

Having said that, the experience of actually attending a course and the learning/interactions with faculty/students is quite valuable as well. So in the end you will need to see what works best for you – there are pros and cons for both options.
