According to figures provided by the Education Ministry, 92.2% of graduates in Singapore from the three local universities last year found employment within six months of graduation.

Students from SMU had the highest employment rate, with 96.8% of them finding jobs within six months, while 91% of National University of Singapore (NUS) found jobs in the same period. By contrast, only 89% of Nanyang Technological University (NTU) students managed to secure a job.

Graduates in Singapore from SMU’s Information Systems Management course had the highest wage level, with the highest mean monthly salary at S$3,450. NUS Business Administration graduates came in second with a mean monthly salary of S$3,400.

The lowest earners were from NUS’s Applied Science course, with a mean monthly salary of about S$2,400.

At the other end of the scale are graduates in Singapore from NUS’s Applied Science course. Their mean monthly salary is about S$2,400.
